Re-creating an old photo

I thought I would post a picture we tried to recreate shortly after my "new" King tuba arrive a couple weeks ago. After it arrived, I remembered a photo we took when I bought my first tuba, a Miraphone 186 CC back in 2009. Back then, we only had one child, and she was about 14 months old when the Miraphone arrived. We now have three kids and the youngest is 18 months. People often comment on how much the oldest and youngest look alike, so I thought it would be fun to try and recreate the photo. We still had the same baby clothes (all three of our kids are girls, so it gets recycled!), the same lamp in the background, and my same shirt. The couch has changed (although the original is at the home of a neighbor a few houses down, but we didn't want to go to that much trouble to recreate the photo) and the house.

Anyway, I thought you might enjoy seeing the comparison!

And here's the whole gang:

The one directly behind me was the girl in the Miraphone picture, she's five now and our second girl is three. In case you were wondering...

And here I thought this would be the German beer girls. However, this is also very cool. Living in a hen house...Godspeed when they get older! (Kidding, of course!) :)

Thanks Jordan. That's one of the most delightful photos ever posted on this board. My two daughters are in their early 50's now, but I can still clearly remember them when they were little. Nostalgia can be wonderful.

That is most definitely a 5 year old's smile. They try so hard. I love it!

Pretty obvious that this may be the first two of a long sequence.

This pic is clearly far better than the German beer girls(and I like the German beer girls a lot). Really cool.
