What makes this inexpensive light so great is :
1. Very cheap
2. Very bright
3. Batteries last a decent amount of time
4. The mount works really well and doesn't require any tools
5. The light can be removed easily and used as a flashlight. This is great if you're out camping. It pulls double duty.
6. It has a focusable beam. Maybe not a necessity but has lots of cool factor to it.
7. It's sealed so it has a lot of "water resistance" to it. I know mine have been left out in a pouring rain and it still works
8. 3 modes- Super bright, 1/2 bright and blinky . The 3rd one is incase you need to signal in the dark .... or you just want to annoy someone
I've had 3 of those really expensive ones that you buy at the bike shops . I lost 2 and had one stolen. This for the price and performance is better by far in all categories. If it gets stolen I'm not gonna get pissed about it .
