Two, I don't use M$ Windows much, so my main browser(mozilla) doesn't try to play the video automatically. I've learned to read the page source (HTML) and find the links I need to downlaod media files for later playback, on another machine.
It's a good skill to aquire too. Relying on the browser/OS to do everything for you is not good.
Now if places would stop putting up streaming-only media...
