Actually Lew Soloff past away early Sunday Morning,didn't get a chance to post this until today.

Lou was a lot more than that. He was a fixture in the NY studios for decades. Amazing commercial player. RIP.

Michael Grose's TPTV YouTube interview of Lew Soloff is fascinating.
A friend of mine had Soloff's "Spinning Wheel" solo as his ring tone. Instantly recognizable by anyone over 50 years old and, fortunately, by many under 50 years old.

Snorlax, thanks for posting the link. I listened to it several times and have had it stuck in my head for some time now. Great job! Please keep uploading more recordings. Sounded like an awful lot of fun!
