I got a floor stand and rest from Baltimore Brass. They shipped them together for not very much.

The floor stand is made of particle board. The rest is made of metal. I like the fact that they were made "in house."

When I get my tuba, I will let you know how they work. Thanks again for helping me find these everyone. Special thanks to bighonkintuba, who really went out of his way and spent a lot of time giving me information.

Very cool! I actually didn't know you could buy the floor stands, but having been to the store many times, they are pretty cool for displaying and keeping a tuba upright, without worrying about tipping over.

The stands are great too, good stuff.
