Insurance?

I am trying to renew my homeowner's insurance. The company I am with has a great inland marine or personal articles policy that covers my boats and horns at very reasonable rate except they just raised my homeowner's 35% and raised the deductible on wind/hail to $8000. So it's time to find a different way to go. Does anyone here know of a company that will insure horns with limited professional use at a reasonable rate. I seeem to remember seeing something on this board a long time ago but I can't find it in the archives. Thanks, Phil

Clarion has always worked well for me. At one time I had 4 horns on my policy for a pretty good rate.

Liberty Mutual is great. They have policies for Seattle Symphony and Pacific NW Ballet. I'm not sure what is available to the general public.

I went with Clarion. They sold me $34000 of replacement cost (new for used) coverage with a $250 deductible for about $260 per year. The best thing is that it is all risk so that if you are practicing and drop your horn or someone else damages it in a rehearsal or gig you are covered. They are also great to work with Phil

I can see that Clarion is the real deal.
