DC Metro

Hey, can any of you who might live in DC offer me some advice?

If I've got a flight scheduled to land at Reagan at about 11 p.m. on a Sunday evening, and my hotel is less than a block away from the Gallery Place/Chinatown station, should I worry at all about taking the metro that late at night (of course alone, with a suitcase)?

Looks like a 10-15 minute subway ride, and I assume the Reagan and Chinatown stations are both reasonably safe, but I thought I'd see if anyone from DC could give me any assurance.

Super Shuttle doesn't run that late, so it's either Metro, cab, or Uber.

Look at everyone directly in the eye, and look a little crazy. Nobody will mess with you.

Cab or Uber. Train only runs until midnight, so if you're running late you'll be on, or nearly on, the last train or could miss it altogether. If its a short train ride, its a short car ride too

The last train that you'll want to catch is 11:45 (if memory serves me) If you're on time, the Metro is fine even at that time of night and in that neighbourhood. It's also not going to be an expensive cab ride either. It's an easy trip in the metro (no changes).
