I was a big TOP fan in the 70's. Then, I got back into them, beginning when they released the CD, Monster On A Leash, in around the mid 90's. Every time they came to NY, we would go and see them and we've seen them twice in Texas since we moved here. I never did see Mic with the band, but he's on the 40th Anniversary CD/DVD that I received as a gift. Mic was great with that band.
His Wikipedia page says that, besides playing trumpet and trombone, he also played Eb tuba. I didn't know that. Here's the Wikipedia page.

That 40th Anniversary CD/DVD is great.It's nice what Lenny Pickett and the rest of the Band had to say about Mic.
