I use Musician Pro Insurance. My PT6P and PT10 are both insured for $150 a year.

What eventualities does that cover? Car wreck? Fall down the stairs? Red rot?

Clarion... I haven't had to use it, ever, but that's kind how it goes with insurance. You hope you'll never need to use it.
My stuff is replaced for full replacement value, and in the unlikely event that I were to be paid for playing, it won't cause any problems (like homeowner insurance would).

They cover the loss (damage, theft, destruction) of one's equipment (horns, laptops, software) on the job, on the way to the job, practicing (which is part of the job), etc. My professor uses them and said that when he had a claim, they sent him a check within 4 days.
