Goodman Heating & AC

Post by Dan Schultz »

No... this isn't more 'spam'!

I'm getting ready to replace my furnace and AC. 'Goodman' seems to be a big player but I'm not familiar with the brand. They are supposed to be made in America. What can you tell me? Good experience? Bad experience?

We see a lot of them around town - they have plants in Fayetteville and Dayton, TN and one outside Houston, TX.

As for quality, I don't have personal experience with them but I don't see them getting swapped out much either.

This is actually related to what I do as a professional engineer.
Heard of them? I have one behind my house. For a residential grade HVAC unit, they're as good as Trane or Carrier.
