Many guitar and bass amps use slow blow 250V 4 amp fuses. If you have the old fuse, it may be very lightly printed on the sides of the metal tips of the fuse.

Any line rating listed on the back? Should be some mention of the voltage, current and/or power requirements.

75W out could require a lot more power in, depending on the amp.
If it's 50% effecient, it would need 150W in, which at 120V, line current is 1.25A.
You need a slow-blow fuse to handle the peaks though.

Or you could just do the redneck thing and put a 5A fuse in.
If that blows too easily, go to 10A :)
