I am not anyone-who-knows-anything-about-this, so all I can tell is, they aren't saying. Reading between the lines, they're telling you "don't expect much, if you paint galvanized metal."

Never done it but I've been advised that before painting galvanized metal or aluminum... once the metal is cleaned... wipe it down with vinegar. The acid you use for chem-cleaning brass should do a FINE job.

Doesn't Krylon spraypaint have a fairly new product for just these hard projects? I forget what they call it, but you could look them up?

I too deal with S-W Paints and find them very good, fwiw.

I'm not sure what the minimum quantity would need to be if you were to place an order, but we spec the Tnemec line of products on many of our projects (structural engineering) at work. They have procedures/products that hold up in some of the harshest environments possible (ie: chemical manufacturing facilities, etc.). If nothing else, their customer service is great and they may be able to point you in the right direction.
