When you say "150 notes", does that mean 150 articulated notes (i.e. several tied notes count as one), or does each individual tied note count in the total?

Do the 150 notes take into consideration tuning notes as well?
My tuba (of course) came certified from the maker, but there's all that playing before a piece where the orchestra (vainly) tries to match my pitch...
