Brass iguanas soldered to the bell are junk. It's all mental.
However, I swear by this method: solder a brass chameleon to your third valve slide. Instant results. Sounds like Deck.

Actually, a gecko soldered on the bell next to the thumb ring makes a great way to rest your palm.
