Why I wish I lived in Europe

Because you just don't get this stuff here. Yeah, this one is old, but there are still groups out there doing wonderful stuff, but they are not US groups. In Europe, you have this kind of thing, and in the US we have rap. Music vs yelling.

Are you sure the Smothers Brothers didn't steal their act??
Also, wasn't ABBA a Swedish Folk band before "Dancing Queen??"
You probably have to travel some distance before getting somewhere with a Bluegrass Fest, Wolf Trap or The Birchmere like we have here in the DC area.

Sven Asmussen died yesterday 100 years old, a few weeks before his 101 anniversary ... what a legend, and a miss to general musicianship! Victor Borge, by the way, was a Dane too ...
