I bet there's some way to automate whatever you're doing. I have made some casual experiments, enough to determine that 1) useful information can be fairly reliably extracted out of phpbb HTML, 2) "command line" access to authenticated pages is possible, and 3) that access is hard to get right and I don't understand it well enough to make it work reliably.

I have minimal experience, but my guess is that admin control panel is about all anyone has, unless someone's a whiz with whatever database the thing uses and understands the tables. I'm talking about client access over the web, but with a program, not manual via browser. Client is something called "curl", which can do "cookies" and I did manage to get one authenticated look at my own user control panel, but it worked only that one time. So I don't have a solution to offer, I'm just saying it seems to be technically feasible to do something like that. More details and I might could write a proposal - probably only 4 figures, it's surprisingly affordable!
