The reason no one can give you an answer is because pounds and tablespoons measure different things. Pounds measure weight while tablespoons measure volume. The number of tablespoons per pound will vary depending on the substance you are measuring.

Dunno. How much do your tablespoons weigh? I have some that have big fancy handles that probably do a couple of ounces each. I have a plastic one that I use to measure coffee that doesn't weigh very much at all.

Do what everyone else does in the business... buy an expensive scale....

you will no doubt pay it off in profits quite quickly in such a lucrative field.
