We’ve ( my wife and I ) have never cared much for the New Years Eve festivities. We’ve slept through most of them since we were married. I’ve never seen what the big deal is. I can remember going to bed at 10:30 for the Y2K nonsense while others I knew stayed up all night to watch the Armageddon that never happened.

You’re right, I was confused by the lack of commercial breaks.

A movie has to be pretty bad for me to stop watching Myrna Loy!!
