Re: A thread for bad ideas...
If you don't have VHS copy of "Faces of Death" secreted away in some hidy hole in the back of an attic...
You are more likely a well adjusted human being.
Good for you!
I might have a copy if someone needs it. I suspect i should also offer to loan out a VCR... and a tv with RCA inputs. And if i am going that far, i should pop some corn, and invite all of tubenet to join.
But i am not sure. Been a while since i cued up a vhs. One that comes to mind is coming across an Anne Russell tape, and wanting to see the Ring Cycle summarized in less than 20 odd hours...

Re: A thread for bad ideas...
I imagine the place they refer to is the same...
Sometimes my imagination is too good.
Beyond that, i am not sure i discern any connection?
Then again, i failed to get a satisfactory reference for the limerick above so i can't say.
The melody i am well familiar with, as a summer camp wrote their own words to it.
I would say it is a go to melody buskingwise for me, and even occasionally has been recognized and appreciated.
As for bad ideas, if i do get out and busk any time soon, i will make a little placard:
"music to distance society by"

Re: A thread for bad ideas...
At work I was asked to complete an outline about how I am going to get something done by a certain date.
I submitted a report outlining obstacles to getting it done instead.
Boy, was THAT a bed idea!!
But it seemed to work for others....

Montgomery County MD COVID Nazis closed my cashless, touchless, automated car wash today. I hate them.

A memorial day without parades...
Or a Corona Virus Parade...
Colours. Probably better to see the world in black and white.
