Re: A thread for bad ideas...
An Olds Tabor cleaned up for me a while back.
Sounds great, and if i trip while hiking, a dent won't break my heart...
Anyway, it was nice to get out.
Thanks for playing!

Doh.
Posting a pic and forgetting to credit the photographer:
@danielosofsky on the instagram.
Almost as bad an idea as activating the tuba-god.

You how trumpets are supposed to be cylindrical as compared to cornets being conical?
What would a completely cylindrical brass instrument sound like?
I kinda want to play an instrument without keys that can double as a blowdart.

Re: A thread for bad ideas...
Does anyone else take advantage of the mobility offered by a sousaphone bell joint to point the bell in odd directions?
I try to occasionally, but i don't know how much difference it makes.

Why stop there?
Why not two?
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I think i've seen someone paint up something like this to resemble a 2 headed dragon...
But i don't think i've heard it in isolation to evaluate how well it works, as it was in a big group.
I think what i'd wanna go for though, is have it rotate whilst playing, like the radar on a conning tower. (Made by Conn, if i'm lucky)

Yup. Very likely him if he was at a recent Boston Tubachristmas.
Which is perhaps small as large metropolitan tubachristmases go, but still not the ideal environment to evaluate new and unusual things.

Well, make yourselves at home, Mz. Adsense and guests!
Pull up a papasan, lay down your burdensome helicon, and chat a while! Sorry i'm not around much any more.
And i still don't want to say a bad word about ads, but i'm still not sure how much they add.
