How about the ever popular “Silver Finnish”? :P

Well it does have fewer letters than "Sellmansberger" which would make it less expensive to etch on the bell. Other than that, it doesn't have much going for it.

Would you also offer "Laquerfish" and "Rawfish" - ("Sushi" for short)?

I like the old Conn nicknames such as New Wonder, Wonderphone, etc. I even enjoy the humor in made-up nick names such as Blastophone, Blastimosso, Windbreaker, Maximus Ventus, etc.

I think I came up with a FANTASTIC name, but others seem to disagree. I told them I would toss it out to the TNFJ for your consideration...so what do you think...??

Well, if we like Conn nicknames, how about "Naked Lady"? Or at least a beer girl.

"Before silverfish reproduce, they carry out a ritual involving three phases, which may last over half an hour. In the first phase, the male and female stand face to face, their quivering antennae touching, then repeatedly back off and return to this position. In the second phase, the male runs away and the female chases him. In the third phase, the male and female stand side by side and head to tail, with the male vibrating his tail against the female"

This sounds a awful lot like a tuba player's mating ritual, so perhaps it IS appropriate...

In any context, the mere mention of the word silverfish gives me pause. In spite of best efforts, I have lost hard copy files to the munching of the critters; I have lost expensive clothing to the munching of the critters. The thought that silverfish may have a more complex mating ritual than some of the clients of the office where I work (domestic law practice) is, well, some things you just can't "unthink."

Sorry - I am suppressing the urge to reach for pyrethrin.

Henceforth, it is henceforth, or it might be henceforth, but it could also be henceforth, but maybe not, so henceforth... :D

I like the font. Nice job there. Just change the name to Goldfish and call it a day. ;-)
