Yeah, Chris--but anyone with an account probably has a whole pile, so it's a pyramid affair.

I have gmail; didn't "receive" an invitation "from" someone....was just on the google site and google itself offered me an "invitation." I still use primarily hotmail, FWIW.

I use gmail (and a bunch of other free mailboxes) for times when I have to make my email public. Let them deal with the spam traffic and when things get too bad, I leave it collect junk until it dies from disuse.
