Which flight search engine gives you the best rates? or do I call the airline? Or ???? No I'm not taking the tuba. Cheapo, expedia, blah blah blah dont' want to spend all day if someone has the answer already. Need to spend as little time getting there as possible. Maybe travel agency is the better answer?

Hotwire.com is always an great inexpensive option but not a flexible one. I’ve used it many times.

I got Delta from TUS to CHO. With wheelchair curb to terminal and gate to gate. Big fat PITA but better than staying home. Not the cheapest but at least it's not United. Reminds me of the old joke about the newlyweds who wanted to fly United but the stewardess wouldn't let them. (OK, it's "flight attendant" now.)
