Aw, c'mon, this is a troll, right?
Did you use natural (no salt, sugar added) or the generic stuff? Seriously, greasing up your horn with crap that can go rancid that also contains salt and sugar?!?
You'dve been better off with Crisco or oleomargarine.
FWIW, I make my own from anhydrous lanolin and mineral oil. Non-toxic and it works as well as most commercial preparations (many of which I suspect are little more than mineral oil and lanolin).

The only slide grease for me is bacon fat. It gives you that great smell while playing that helps cancel out the smell of stale beer from the mouthpiece.

I use pate de foi gras. The only problem I have is that the crackers in the 5th valve keep getting stuck.

Might help to switch to crackers with a lower fiber content (the high-fiber ones are like giving your valves a wedgie

I think that bearing grease wouldn't be a problem. STP actually works well too.

Please be calm. And, put down your tuba and your jar of peanut butter. Put them DOWN, Royce. See those guys over there in white with big butterfly nets? Help has arrived, Royce. They will help you grease your slides. Everything is going to be OK.
