(didn't want to clutter TubeNet): Magnus Competition

Post by FarahShazam »

Magnus, beginner horn, solo ensemble contest 27APR2019
FYI: No, I did NOT want to be in there but they all insisted and I didn't want him more nervous for his first performance, so I went in and, of course, took video (duh).

He did better on the performance than I've heard him and he told me afterwards that his heart was pounding. He's a performer. Poor dude.

Pretty good! A few minor league clams in there but French horn can be tough to play in tune. He did pretty well on the octave jumps. Good for him. As long as he is having fun and feels accomplishment when he practices and performs.

He loves it. He did GREAT. Don't care if he is or isn't a "Top Star." :D
