I just wanted to remind everyone to check their private messages when they sign on. I've sent a few out and some of them have not had responses. Surely they aren't ignoring me

When I first moved here I had to get used to people referring to where they lived by subdivision. Not county, not township, but BY SUBDIVSION! And the other people KNEW WHERE THEY MEANT! I can throw my biggest tuba further than this state is wide, and softly enough not to DENT IT TOO BADLY!! I've lived in townships bigger than this state... but at least you don't worry about terrorists, because you know everybody else, so suspicious activity is REALLY SUSPICIOUS!TexTuba wrote:SOOOOOO much smaller than DELAWARE!!

If so, would you have called it Maryware or Delaland?

My parent's grew up in a very small Wisconsin town (pop. 1,000). Once my grandmother took a few of us to the WI Dells park and there was a paragraph about it in the paper.
I never tried throwing an instrument into Illinois or anything. . .

You can leave them, without penalty, at any hospital, police station, or occupied fire station.RyanSchultz wrote:

Oh, sorry, that applies to abandones babies, not tubas. Quality instruments can be left on the doorstep of any Illinois tubist registered on TubeNet. The rest go to Indiana.
