Not wishing to be be vulgar, but the expression "break wind" comes to mind. Of course, timbre and pitch are a bit hard to control, as is uniformity of sound and dynamics throughout the range of the, uh, instrument. Embouchures vary.

That's when you hear a piece you know forwards and backwards, and your fingers start moving as if they were operating tuba valves........... :shock:
