I'd rather play oboe than anything else.

I once mistakenly watched a conductor.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I almost chose clarinet over tuba when I was trying out instruments for beginner band

Yes, I allow jokes made on my expense about this particular incident
I would put a good signature here, but i dont have one, so this will make do.

I once received a very warm, unsolicited compliment on my playing (from the greatest trumpet player in the United States) whilst playing a lap sousaphone (of my own construction, and in *eek* BBb, not CC)

Outside of my community band friends/acquaintances who know better, most people think I’m still exclusively a flautist.

This one time, back in High School, I was assigned a group project with about 12 of my classmates and I was “in charge.”

After the report was turned in and we had all gotten out grades I was “interviewed” about the project I lead.

Well, I flubbed it pretty badly and in the end it was evident that my classmates had done all the work.

That was embarrassing!! :tuba:

I was referring to an old beer commercial - from the last century which I spent nearly 59 years in.

Depending on the rep, I sometimes prefer playing a pops concert over "classical"
