Does anyone know if/when the Tuba Christmas schedule is published. I can't find anything on their website. I usually participate in many and I'm making up my December schedule now.

Thanks Bloke,
I've run into a few that have added music, other than the official book. I'm really just trying to find out if the schedule is already been formed, or, when it does come out.
I've played in, up to, 8 in a year. I've resigned my church music director job, so I'll be able to play in more. I really enjoy them and having only played tuba for a year, the skill level meets my needs.
By the way, I live in Northern Michigan, so it's hard to get to other states. Although, I guess I could get the reindeer out early to save travel time.

We Michganders differentiate between the "Upper" and Northern Michigan. The Upper, is of course, the Upper Peninsula and Norther Michigan is the Northern Lower Peninsula. I've played baritone in Traverse City, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Engadine and many others in past years. I started playing tuba last year and played in Traverse City, (the picture is from the Traverse City Tuba Christmas directed by Dr. Jerry Young of Arban's fame. His wife, Barb, was my church job accompanist), Flint and Big Rapids. (The Big Rapids Tuba Christmas features the very fine Tuba Back Quartet) This year, because of my lack of Sunday commitments, I hope to do many more, including a possible out-of-state venture (possibly Chicago -- I hear that's a good one).
Be Well!

Like I said, I really enjoy Tuba Christmas.

So right above that last post, I am getting an ad that says “Follow your passion - Learn and master the bagpipes.” Next year I will be playing bagpipee Christmas.

I haven't seen many dates posted on the tubachristmas.com site, which is where I normally go for that sort of information. I assume that more dates will be added in the next month or so.

So many of the major sites must wait until they see the schedule for the host venue. Philly, for example, must get clearance from the Kimmel Center to host, generally just prior to an orchestra concert or a recital. A lot of schedules to consider.

I found that the one in Dayton is held every second Saturday in December at the Greene. You know, if you're looking to come to our little, ravaged town.
I would love to go to a major one. DC, Chicago and NY are all on my list.

I don’t know why but Chicago is on my list to avoid also I consider Wasilla Alaska a major one because the fact that they perform on Christmas day. Now with my current situation being single I could see myself doing that in the next couple years. This year it’s off because of other commitments. At the current rate 2021 will probably be the year I go to the Wasilla Alaska tuba Christmas
I will post this in a separate thread when the time comes but best idea to fly from Roanoke Virginia to Anchorage with a tuba
