locked Thread?

Who knows, maybe he just figured it was time to let it die. Sometimes a thread like that will pop back up for years, maybe decades, as people stumble across it and don't stop to look at the chronology and consider that maybe that ship has sailed. Maybe more people should lock their threads when the time has come.

This particular forum, "General Chatter", doesn't require any conformance to tuba-related topic matter. There was nothing wrong with the thread, unless there were some people whose desire to help considerably exceeded their knowledge of the subject matter, but then that's practically a requirement for Tubenet.
