Pop-ups a thing of the past!

Post by scottw »

After a bit of research and talking to others, I dumped Google as my search engine in favor of "duck duck go" this week. What spectacular results! I used to have every single item I looked at on google show up as pop-ups covering content on every web page I loaded. I buy a tool: it shows up as advertising. I buy a pair of pants: yep, plastered all over the web pages for a week or more!
Now, all are gone. And, as an added bonus, I can also search for something google doesn't like and I don't have to scroll to the 27th page to actually find what I'm looking for. 8)
