I just got a 3V valve section back from Anderson. There were some additional charges for extra work such as soldering some pits and making new keys. The exact charge from Anderson was $400.25. Add a little mark-up to cover your ***. Add a couple of hours to take the valve section off and put it back on, a few bucks for new corks and felts, and freight to and from Elkhart, Indiana.
I don't know what kind of job Kiltie had done but a PERFECT job should be in the range of $800 for a three-holer and $1,000 for a four-holer.
From there.... the cost can get stupid if you have to make stems, provide finger buttons, fix bad threads on top/bottom caps, and provide springs, etc.
