Anybody have a lead on *good* jeweler's saw blades?

I'm sick and tired of them breaking before they have a chance to become dull.

Pike 6/0 Saw Blades
Are these the ones that you had mentioned previously? I think I'll order some and check them out.

I dont like to work with a blade that is too fine. How fine (or coarse) is 6/0? (I must admit that the numbering system has always been a bit of a mystery to me  )

I was looking at the Ferree's website, and they have numbers 0, 2, 4, and 6, six being the coarsest, so maybe 6/0 is a coarse thread?

They're inexpensive enough, maybe I'll order several different ones, or the sampler, as you suggested..... :tuba:

Now, now, fellas..... :D

I'm really not yet sure what will work best for me. The fine kerf blades I've been using so far are so miserably weak that they snap almost immediately. The only reason I've settled into heavier blades is because the extra mass makes them less likely to break.

If I had a fine blade that had some strength, they might be a better option, but I just don't know yet.

(Damn, I really need to get a lathe - I waste a lot of time cutting tubing this way...... )
