Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows what the slide lengths for an f tuba should be?

I think the 2nd slide on my Weltklang F tuba is too long.

How hard is it to trim a 2nd slide from a rotary set?

Art Hovey has a downloadable Excel spreadsheet where you can plug in the numbers and get the tubing lengths. It's about a third of the way down the page. If there are any details about using it (other than plugging in numbers) maybe Art could chime in.
