Scoring lines on tubing

Question - is there a tool that I can use to score decorative lines, as found on tubing ferrules and the soldered ends of tubes, without a lathe?

Thanks, bloke - I assume you mean just a regular pair of measuring calipers?

Someday, I'll break down and get a lathe..... :oops:
