Wow, that's really cheap gasoline!
On the surface, it's a great thing - wish I had a way to store it so I could buy a lot of it. My only concern is what damage this worldwide oil glut is going to do to our renewed production here in the US (and believe me, I'm no particular friend of the oil companies )

True - I'll bet that even at $1.19 per gallon, the distributors are still making a profit - however, it's not so much a fear of it disappearing, but where the oil is coming from.
The Russians, along with OPEC, have been using the pandemic as tool to destroy the US oil production industry, by ramping up production, thereby flooding the market and bringing the value down to a point where we can't compete.
I'm old enough to remember the oil embargo in the 70s. It seems like a national security issue to me (?)
