Modifying an Eastman 832 into a 5/4

Would anyone have any ideas how to do this? I'm fairly new to modifying things and this was an idea I had which I thought would sound good

What, exactly, do you want to do to this horn to "make it a 5/4"? That usually means larger body and bows. Do you just want to swap out the valve set for a larger bore valve set? Or maybe a rotary set? If you list specific mods you may get some answers.

If you want a 5/4 sell the 632 and buy a Wessex Wyvern or an equivalent.

Going up a size like that, you need a different bugle. The bugle is what makes the size. So, as I understand it, you like how the Eastman plays but want it to be a 5/4. Find a 5/4 bugle you like and then transplant the valves, possibly the main slide. Find where the bore meets or figure out how to make up the difference. It is not an easy project and if you have never done it before you don't know if it will be good, (and sometimes, if you end up modifying a lot you can't really go backwards) so expect to lose a crap ton of money and end up with a couple ruined tubas in parts and a not-so-good story.
