Amado Water Keys

Post by Tundratubast »

HELLO ALL,

Okay, I'm really starting to hate these little Amado water key b********. My hands aren't that big and I still can't seem
to control those little "C" clips. Does anyone have a trick, or a modified tool to make the installation of the spring
retainers easier.
It's a damn good thing I'm a family, friends and neighbors tech because I'd be fired for the time
wasted on two water keys.
Thanks in advance.

Purchase a pliers-like tool made to take apart/install C-clips. The tools have came with several tips for large to very small clips. I've had mine for years and don't remember where I bought them. Try McMaster-Carr or Harbor Freight.
