(I'll gladly remove this item if Joe has a problem with it.)

Actually, I've been told I shouldn't waste my time running for local office, that I ought to just go ahead and run for National Arsehole. I don't know though; I've got some pretty stiff competition!

EDIT: Daryl seems to have removed it, but he HAD posted a request that I feed you all a line of bulls-- ah, I mean, that I tell you all the reasons why you should vote for me.

Well, first of all, I promise to return all the A-flats to all of those Yamaha 641s, and low Cs to all the German F tubas. I also promise to personally do research to determine whether lacquer or brass, pistons or rotors, heavy mouthpieces or regular weight give a "darker" sound, and also to have the American National Standards Institute determine just what the heck a "dark" sound is.
Furthermore, I will submit an initiative limiting the number of accidentals to no more than 1 per second, and limiting to one (1) the number of times during any football game that the song "Louie, Louie" may be played.
Finally, I plan to institute a program to assign 2 "Hooter's girls" as case bearers for each and every tuba player in America! And let it not be said that the rules are different for elected officials; I plan to start the Hooter Girl Case Bearing Initiative with my very own horn!
