WTS: Miraphone 181 F tuba with hard case

Post by CJBlaha »

I am selling my Miraphone 181 F tuba, 6 valves (5 in right, 1 in left), in gold brass. This tuba is almost 3 years old and is in excellent condition. It has been customized by Alan Baer by the cutting of some tuning slides in order to correct intonation.
I am selling a Winter/Miraphone hard case with it. The case is fitted specifically for this instrument and is also in excellent condition.
I am asking $4000.
Photos are available on request.
Please contact me via email.
Thank you,
Chris

I helped Chris pick this horn out of about 6 when he got it. It was by far the best of the lot and the intonation was pretty good. I recently went over the valves for Chris, getting them working much smoother and making the horn more responsive. Alan's work on the horn really added to the playability of the instrument. This is an excellent value for someone looking for a good F tuba.

If you have any questions on it, please drop me an e-mail or a PM.
