FS: MTS Hard Case - Fits MW 2145

Post by smurphius »

Greetings fellow Tubenetters. I need money. I'm broke. I have this MTS hard case that I never use because I prefer my gig bag. The case sits in my living room collecting dust. The wife says it needs to go...

So... I have a MTS black hardshell case, originally purchased from WWBW. It fits a Meinl Weston 2145 tuba, though I'm sure others of similar size would fit. It is in very good condition with only some white paint that has smudged off of walls onto the case. The wheels are still free moving and the padding is in very good shape. I'll provide pictures soon.

Originally $360, I am asking $300 plus shipping. Shipping might be around $50. I prefer payments through Paypal, or cash. I'd be willing to drive it somewhere in this part of the country if someone paid for my gasoline (shipping is probably the cheaper route these days, *sigh*). The case is located in Huntington, WV.

Please PM or e-mail me with serious inquiries. Thanks!! :D

What you probably have is a MTS 1207V. According to the Hornguys, that case should fit:

18"-20" bell, up to 37" long, incl. Holton 331, Miraphone, 191, 1291, 1292, 1271, Rudy Meinl RMC, VMI 3301, Meinl Weston 2145, 2141, 45P, Conn 2J-5J, 12J, 15J, St. Petersburg BBb, Getzen G50, Cerveny CCB 681-5, King 2341

I have not seen these for less than $500 anywhere (maybe $50 less if you buy a tuba with it).

Do you think this would fit a PT-4P?
