I was talking to Nick Atkinson a couple months ago. It looks like all three of us are using 822s's. I don't know about you, but I was surprised at how well the Bobo solo worked. I didn't expect to like as much as I did. It's my first F (finally) and the tuning completely escaped me for months as I tried different mouthpieces. The PT-64 is a close second and I tried that after Nick suggested it.
How are things with you? Are you visiting the GTA anytime soon?

FWIW, it may be a lot cheaper to get the Replica mouthpiece in silverplate and then send it off to Goldchops or someone else and have the rim goldplated. I think the difference in price Yamaha charges for the replica (silver) vs signature (gold rim) are very out of line with the actual cost differences.
