Hey Dave!

I can order you one through Cosmo Music (where I sell stuff as my day job). I can get you an alright discount as an artist too. If you're interested gimme a shout.

I was talking to Nick Atkinson a couple months ago. It looks like all three of us are using 822s's. I don't know about you, but I was surprised at how well the Bobo solo worked. I didn't expect to like as much as I did. It's my first F (finally) and the tuning completely escaped me for months as I tried different mouthpieces. The PT-64 is a close second and I tried that after Nick suggested it.

How are things with you? Are you visiting the GTA anytime soon?

FWIW, it may be a lot cheaper to get the Replica mouthpiece in silverplate and then send it off to Goldchops or someone else and have the rim goldplated. I think the difference in price Yamaha charges for the replica (silver) vs signature (gold rim) are very out of line with the actual cost differences.

Thanks for the info. Will look into the mouthpiece express route. Not certain if the Dutch would like the Satin Finish, but looks like an interesting option nonetheless! :?
Thanks again,

Yo Kutzy,

Glad to hear that you´re on the Bobo Solo. It´s all I use on my 822. Don´t spend the cash on the signature model. The silver plated replica is just fine. Hope you´re well.
