tuba mouthpieces FS

Post by glangfur »

Schilke 66 - shank wear, otherwise excellent - $45

Schilke-Helleberg - excellent, almost new - $50

Conn Helleberg 7B - almost unplayed - $45

Floyd Cooley Helleberg - used, a bit tarnished, one small ding towards outside of rim that I can't feel at all - $115

The Cooley Helleberg is essentially a souped-up 7B, with a more secure pitch center and bigger, easier response in the low register. The rim and cup are exact matches as far as I can tell. I'll sell them together for $150.

Meinl-Weston #80 (might be #30, the stamping was buffed out a bit) - looks and feels like a Helleberg 7B with a rounder rim, well-used, a bit tarnished, end of shank ever so slightly out of round - $20

Curry Precision 120D - small inner diameter rim with medium-deep cup, perfect mouthpiece for a euph/trombone player doubling tuba occasionally; heavy blank for a big sound and solid feel - $100

These prices are quite firm, but I'll talk if you want more than one. I'll pay shipping in the US. Please email me at glangfur@yahoo.com if you're interested.
