Yamaha 321S Eb - $2100

Post by Navytubaman »

For Sale - my Yamaha 381S Eb tuba, 5th valve was removed so now it's a 321S :tuba:

Horn served me well in brass band and solo's, excellent shape, with a few small dings here and there in the outer branches but nothing to impact performance or anything other than very, very, minor stuff.

I have carpel tunnel and it's getting worse. It was part of my reason to retire. I don't play as much as I want and I'm finding rotors are much more comfortable for me to play at this point.

It is for sale on consignment to Louisville Music Company, see the link below - price is $2100.00, offers considered. They listed it as a 321 since it has no 5th valve. I found a dependent 5th setup needless and heavy. If you are playing low F's a lot on this horn, you're using the wrong horn!

I do see that the website has not lowered the price to $2100.00. Rest assured, it is $2100.00.

Someone put this horn back in service, it's too solid a horn to sit not being played.
