Shouldn't last long at all. Trying to talk my wife in to letting me snag this one up now that we have closed on the new house. :)

Paul knows the best ones, and I would expect this to be just such a horn.

Curious, Paul... What's the effect of the smaller bell? That's my one beef with the old 2341, that gigantic pancake bell.

Actually not a huge difference in sound. A little more focus. To be honest, I just happened to have it, so I put a tenon on it and gave it a shot. It worked well. I used it for a while on my rotary CC King. Worked great on that too. It does lower the overall pitch of the horn about 15 cents, but there is plenty of wiggle room. Visually it gives the horn more of an 'orchestral' look. If you're into appearance and 'psycho-acoustics.'
