$1295 O.B.O. I can do a deal on this one.
W. NIRSCHL J-500LQ BBb TUBA
THIS IS A REALLY NICE 3/4 BBb TUBA
GREAT FOR A YOUNGER PLAYER NOT YET READY FOR A LARGE 4/4 TUBA, HIGH SCHOOL OR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT, THE MUSICIAN WHO OCCASIONALLY DOUBLES ON THE TUBA, AN OLDER GENTLEMAN OR LADY LOOKING FOR A SMALLER HORN THAT IS NOT SO DIFFICULT TO HAUL AROUND,
OR SOMEONE ON A LIMITED BUDGET LOOKING FOR A NICE TUBA

COSMETIC CONDITION IS EXCELLENT. THERE IS A SMALL DENT WHICH HAS BEEN ROLLED OUT ALMOST ALL THE WAY AND COATED WITH A CLEAR SUBSTANCE. IT IS LOCATED JUST IN LINE WITH THE VALVES BELOW THE BELL ON THE MAIN BODY. WHEN PLAYING THE HORN, YOUR RIGHT ARM COVERS THE MARK. THERE ALSO IS A SCRATCH AT THE BOTTOM OF THE MAIN BOW WHICH IS NOT VERY NOTICEABLE TO THE NAKED EYE
THE VALVES ARE REALLY GOOD AND WORK VERY FAST WITH SMOOTH ACTION AND NO STICKING
TUNING SLIDES WORK WELL
OVERALL A NEARLY LIKE NEW HORN AT A GREAT PRICE.
INCLUDED WITH THE HORN IS THE CASE, THE RGB HELLEBERG MOUTHPIECE, VALVE OIL AND SLIDE GREASE
ONE MAJOR MUSICAL INSTRUMENT SELLER SELLS THIS HORN EVERY DAY FOR $2,412.13

REGARDING SHIPPING: I HAD TO PUT SOMETHING IN THE SHIPPING INFORMATION SO i USED THE ACTUAL SIZE AND WEIGHT OF THE PACKAGED HORN WITH FULL INSURANCE. DEPENDING UPON WHERE YOU HAVE THE HORN SHIPPED TO AND THE AGREED UPON PRICE, THERE CAN BE SOME NEGOTIATION ON THE SHIPPING COST. THE HORN MAY ALSO BE PICKED UP HERE IN GREENVILLE, PA OR AN AGREED UPON MEETING PLACE WITHIN A REASONABLE DISTANCE TO GREENVILLE
BELOW IS THE TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND SPECS ON THE HORN:

Master Craftsman
Walter Nirschl hails from Germany, where his family has been building musical instruments for six generations. His great-great-great-great-grandfather began making harmonicas in Graslitz, Bohemia in 1810 and eventually began building brass instruments. His grandfather, Wenzel Meinl, set up a music shop in Geretsried in 1945. Walter later trained at the same shop with his uncle, Anton Meinl.

After learning the business in his uncle’s factory, Walter apprenticed at other factories in the United States and France. Eventually he purchased Böhm & Meinl Symphonic, a brass instrument company in Geretsried, then the only company in the world making large bore piston tubas in the size and style of the great American York tubas. Today, Meister Walter Nirschl instruments are considered some of the finest brass instruments in the world. In 2006, Gemstone Musical Instruments partnered with Walter Nirschl to create the W. Nirschl line of brass instruments, combining sixty years of Gemeinhardt tradition with 6 generations of German craftsmanship.
