Two Soundwear Professional Gig Bags for Sale- Washington DC

I have 2 Soundwear Professional Gig Bags that I am wanting to sell. Make sure to read the description first...

1. Soundwear 17.75" bell, 37.5" length (F/Eb tuba, small CC/BBb tuba)- black
2. Soundwear 19" bell, 40.15" length (large CC/BBb tuba)- black

As you may know, Soundwear makes some of the most protective gig bags on the market. You may also know that Soundwear NO LONGER makes tuba gig bags, so these are not on the market anymore. I've had mine since 2009, and had some mild issues with them...mainly the zippers wore out. These gig bags hold up extremely well, with the one exception being those zippers. I ended up wearing out both the main zippers as well as the mouthpiece pouch zippers after a few years. As a result (and after a phone call to Soundwear), I ended up switching over to Altieri.

Both these gig bags sat in my storage for a few years while I figured out a way to repair them. Finally a while back I learned of a gentleman in NJ who was able to repair them for me, and after a lengthy wait, both these gig bags are repaired and ready to use again!

Please consult the pictures, but everything works well now. There's some cosmetic signs of the zipper issues, but all zippers are fully repaired and ready to use. One thing I LOVE about these bags is how protective they are, as well as being very friendly to your back. The extra back padding is most welcome when you are walking long distances. They also come with a solid ring around the bell area which furthers protects your investment.

You won't be able to buy these new anywhere; check online I couldn't find them. When I bought them new I paid $480 and $530 respectively for them. If you want the most protective and ergonomic gig bags you can buy these will be a great investment for you!
