I have a prototype St Petersburg CC tuba that I bought new from the TubaExchange in 2009. It was cut from a BBb tuba and had a 5th valve added. Plays very well. 1st, 3rd and 4th valve slides are very accessible while playing. Has a very BBb-esque sound to it but has the easier response you'd find in a CC tuba. Lacquer is rubbing off in areas where your arms would typically rest when playing. I'd recommend wrapping an athletic bandage around those areas.
