York 3+1 'project' horn FS

Post by Dan Schultz »

This is one that I'm not going to straighten out and put back together. I just don't have the time. Maybe some York 'fanatic' will want it to beat around on or for parts. The bell is usable but sports several holes that could be patched. It will need a valve job for sure. This is a 3+1... NOT a compensator. The slides are all stuck. There is a very rough spot in the small side of the bottom bow that could be worked out. It's not a hole yet but will be if the right technique isn't used to straighten it out. No lead pipe.

Needless to say, this is a pretty rare horn. However... it's just not worth my effort. I have other stuff I need to be tending to.

Note to Paul Mayberry... I don't think you want this one as it's the one I got from you!

$200 plus the postage will get it to you. More pictures upon request.
