I stopped into Phil Parker Ltd in London yearerday to pick up a mouthpiece. While I was there I played on a new handmade 6450/2 they have in stock. It is a really solid example of this horn, and plays great. It's new and is in perfect condition.
They have it on sale for a really good price and they seem very motivated to move it. Check out their web site for the advertised price. If you are in the US, you can get the horn for about 20% less after the VAT refund, which at today's exchange rate puts the horn at about $16,700. If you import the horn into the US you'll pay about 6% in import duty, and may or may not have to pay state sales tax where you live. They can ship the horn to you in the US.
This seems like a really great price for this horn. Just wanted to pass along the info to everyone. I'm all set with a Nirschl York that I really like, otherwise I'd buy this horn myself.
Call the shop and talk to Tristan if you are interested. I'm not affiliated with them in any way.

Re: MW 6450/2 "Baer" model in London
I was in London at Phil Parker's this past May giving a Masterclass, and ended up using this exact horn to play/teach with for the two days I was in town. I'll echo Rod's thoughts...this is a REALLY fine example of a 6450/2. I've owned 2 of them myself, and it stacks right up there as one of the best that I've played.
The Tuono they have in stock is quite excellent as well.
